An experienced expert in ID document security and fraud, Andrew plays a key role in Onfido's product development strategy. Andrew's work on the Fraud Lab team includes giving expert advice and training on recognising fraud signals, deep-dive investigations, research and generating training datasets, helping businesses to reduce cost of customer acquisition, enhance fraud protection, and satisfy global compliance needs. Prior to Onfido, Andrew worked as the fraud lead (specialising in documents) for the Driving Licence authority within the UK Government, providing training and advice to police, immigration, forensic departments, and financial institutions within the United Kingdom. His duties also required him to give expert testimony in court.
