Chris is a senior leader and independent adviser on strategy, regulatory reform and economics. His advice is informed by practical policy making experience and as a decision-maker across a full range of consumer, competition and regulatory enforcement. He led the Payment Systems Regulator for six years, supporting the transformation of UK payments through open banking, the emergence of digital assets and the fight against fraud. He was CEO of the UK Regulators Network, Chief Economist at the UK's rail regulator, and Director of Consumers & Markets at the Civil Aviation Authority.
