With over a decade of experience in fraud and financial crimes, Daniel has built and scaled operations teams that blend rigorous analytics with a human-centered approach to risk. Before Robinhood, Daniel honed his expertise as a consultant at Deloitte, where he advised financial institutions navigating complex challenges in identity verification and customer authentication ' areas that sit at the intersection of fraud, security, and trust. A Seoul native and Korean Air Force veteran, Daniel brings that same discipline and grit to his profession. Outside of work, he is the author of Project 7,000km: Crossing of America ' an inspirational memoir chronicling his cross-country bicycle ride across the United States to raise awareness for cancer. He is based in Denver, Colorado.
