Paul is a senior financial crime leader with over 30 years’ experience spanning law enforcement, regulation, and fintech. As Financial Crime Director at Wirex, he has spent nearly four years building and leading global teams, progressing from Manager to Global Head of Financial Crime before stepping into his current role. Previously, Paul worked at the Financial Conduct Authority’s Financial Intelligence Network and spent 30 years with the Metropolitan Police, finishing as a Detective Sergeant on the National Terrorism Financial Investigation Unit. He specialises in financial crime investigations, fraud typologies, and leading high-performing teams across multiple regions.
