Peter is the co-founder of AVIEL Intelligence - the anti-scam intelligence company. Peter and his co-founder Joe Tallett both previously worked at Google where they witnessed the scale of the scam problem and how bad actors target victims.
In 2024 they founded AVIEL - the UK-based anti-scam intelligence company that identifies and engages with active scammers at scale. AVIEL continuously scans digital platforms to identify scammer lures. They then deploy a fleet of AI-powered synthetic personas (or ‘honey-bots’) to engage with scammers - posing as ideal scam victims and uncovering the financial underpinnings of their operations.
Fun Fact: Peter was once an Anthropologist at the University of Cambridge, where he specialised in Sub-Saharan African witchcraft... which has now bizarrely become a common practice amongst scammers (witchcraft, not anthropology).
